Is the feeling I have
I want to take those shattered pieces
Then cut myself with them
I want to feel the sharp edge
Go through my skin
I want to feel my blood
Empty from my veins

The emptiness of a glass
Is a synonym of my soul
For I am so dull and
I am unwhole

For each piece of that shattered glass
Is for each piece of my heart
That you laid aside
Unlike your's , mine's apart

You left my mind unanswered
You left me with no words
You gave me no reason
Then flew off like birds

You hurt me inside and out
You stabbed me in the back
For I wish
That you would do it again

I crave for the pain
That you put me through
Now I must torture myself
For my crave has grew

After my bleeding has stopped
I'll rinse off the blood
I'll place those shattered pieces
Between my two fingers and
I'll start to cut again
I'll do this constantly
Until you come back
Because my heart is what shattered
My heart is what cracked [comments] => 2 [counter] => 142 [topic] => 13 [informant] => DecapitateMyPain [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Pain..an interesting concept..always with glass...strange is it not..well at least a bit...but understandable for the cutting of the shattered glass is perhaps as powerful an image as indeed the very shattering of the glass itself. Nice imagery here...I like..it...quite powerful in its way. The shattering of a heart and then the cutting pains of memories....all within the tale told by the imagery of shatered glass.

Good write. The flow was good and the imagery was very vivid. Such a sad subject, yet one we all face at one time or another. Good job and thanks for sharing.
