Trickling spontaneously leaving a trace
I still weep to this very day
Ever since you walked away
Our love was one shared by few
Now it's long gone as cold as the morning's
dew
I try to smile and play my part
But behind this smile lays a broken
heart
You were everything to me
But I guess it wasn't meant to be
It's been awhile now, but I can't forget
My heart is charred and full of fret
Seasons come and seasons go
Still the tears manage to flow
I hope in time my heart will heal
This anguish I hope to no longer feel
Until that day heads my way
Heart broken and miserable I shall stay

Dry your tears....as I really hope that you DO find love again and I am sure you will....you sound like a caring lovable person and soon when you at least expect it ...that someone will step into your life

that poem was lovely, i used to feel that way about my ex-boyfriend, he was my everything, my first love. but it took me 2 years to get over him. now i talk to him everyday, although we are 1000 miles apart. we are such good friends now. he is my best friend. although i always think what it would be like to still be with him, it is a wonderful thing we shared. i tell him stuff like that too. maybe you and your ex will become closer jst as friends. you never know . and you will find someone else maybe the next person you love will be the one. you never know. good luck with your future boyfrieds and with your poetry. nice write!

this is a really good poem.
It flows nicely and I'm in your position so I know how you feel.
This is very emotional and shows your true feelings.
Great write

A beautiful poem! Obviously from a loving person grieving from a love that once was, but is now adrift. Take care of your heart (you know it’s functioning from the pain you feel). A loving heart attracts love, just as surely as honey attracts bees.

-A Love For Mina-

When the written word is from the heart
You should never feel a tinge of fear
you were not born to be apart
from he, who soon will hold you near
If not the one for whom you grieve
then for a sweeter, stronger love
more than you give, shall you receive
from that ultimate Knight you're dreaming of.

Cheers
John
