The shift in my pulse, saying she’s worthwhile
How long had she been waiting to take me as her own
Wrapped in poetry, the depths of her heart are shown

At the slightest touch of her fingertips
Pleasure becomes my pain’s eclipse
The world, given a soft new angel glow
As she repairs my wounds, how she must love me so

My soul becomes her blanket to give her warmth
Thanking her, for her gentle-hearted work
The demons that were within, now distant and far away
Going to let her know how I feel, and hope with me she’ll stay

As I seek the words to speak none can I find
The happiness she brings in tears I’ve cried
A silent wish to figure out why she loves me so
And why I was chosen to see behind her angel glow

But at this point, it really didn’t matter
I decided to not let my thoughts, become chatter
As I finally understood three little words
From her poetic verse echoing, in heavenly chords

I now have a new song as my battle cry
And at evening time it becomes my lullaby
And at the end of day it relives me of stress and strife
When I hear I love you spoken by my angel white
