Fueled
Fueled by rage
He locked the door
Then turned,
his eyes
seeking out
her huddled form
You!
He narrowed his eyes.
Come,
stand before me!
She sat still
as if by means of sheer will
she could disappear
into the dark
He laughed then,
at the sight before him
at her obstinence
His voice softened
Come,
stand before me...
She opened her eyes
slowly
The cold blackness
was gone from his eyes
Replaced by the warmth of humor
And faintly,
so faintly,
the heat of desire
Relaxing,
she rose
and walked to him
with just a hint
of arrogance
Narrowing his eyes slightly,
he felt the familiar
stirring
as his eyes
drank in
her
Lust flared
hotter
than the rage
that
had
been
Why had she angered him so?
He no longer
remembered
Witch!
his whispered word
filled
the quiet
He saw it then,
the rush
of
wantoness
unbridled,
in her meadow eyes
They reached
each other
flesh
warming
flesh
tongues
united
Together
they merged
as one
hot
and
hotter
Fueled
by their love

I like how you get to playing and experimenting with words as well Carol. That is almost dark rolling into light, filled with passion ... GREAT manipulation of the story ... I dig that !!

Wow! I don't think i've ever read anything like this! It was brilliant! Written in such a unique way, you should always experiment if you come up with these types of pieces. The imagery, the word use, it was all so beautifully done. Great work. |
