Learning to Bleed

I like to wrap a black satin bow around my neck and pull it tight;
Looking into the mirror as I watch myself choke on the misery.
I like the angry bruises left behind like footprints.
The scars I draw, like fingerpaint, along my arm are so beautiful; they heal.
I trace them underneath the table or at my desk at school.
The blood's so hard to bring but once it comes,
I welcome it greedily and watch it stain everything in it's path with pain.
