Take my hand, do not fear the truths that you may find
Look deep in the mirror, beyond your reflection
And ponder the world’s many unanswered questions
Is hope an illusion? Is there life after death?
Or have we reached the end after our last breath?
Do angels have nightmares, and are they of hell?
Do you have a secret that you cannot tell?
Do we all have a purpose? Is life just a game?
Why does every new day feel exactly the same?
When we lose our innocence, where does it go?
Does it hide? Does it die? Does it change as we grow?
Is it true when they say that real love never dies?
Can you see peoples pain in the depths of their eyes?
And what is the meaning of real romance?
Why do we hold back when we just want to dance?
Why do some people not say what they mean?
Why are the quiet ones always unseen?
If hearts can be broken then how do they mend?
How can I tell if you’re really my friend?
Should we just wait for these things to unfold?
Does it choke you inside that your story’s untold?
It may feel so cold but there’s no need to fear
With a mind so unstable, nothing is clear
