A HAPPY MASK

Contributed by handsomeheart2000 on Thursday, 7th April 2005 @ 09:59:53 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

What makes you smile so much
Why do I feel you lost your touch
Why fake that dry smile lovely
When you know you are lonely
That heart in pieces scattered inside,
In thousand pieces you fail to hide
Why do you think people won’t know
That sad face you are hiding to show
Yet all your efforts are in vain
if not anyone at least I sensed your pain
You don’t want to show that hurting pain
Of losing your love is a loss no gain,
Who would know this better than me
Coz the one I loved fails to see
All she sees, is her love who died
All she knows how far she cried
But she doesn’t see that men don’t cry
With a blurred vision she fails to see I,
I m all alone and so my love are you
If you allow, can we start this life anew
But if you don’t want to be my bride
Let me be at least by your side
Let us be those great friends that we were
Who for each other showed a great care
But yet in this party you are scared to show
That hidden sadness that I very well know,
Trying to show what you are not,
Smiling over sadness, c’mon friends know it a lot
Yet to take on life without your love is a hard task
You and I my friend are wearing that Happy Mask..
