Even though this happens darling,
You are always in my heart.

I picture your lovely smile,
And my fears seem to go away.
For I know within my mind,
I am in your heart to stay.

I see your beautiful eyes,
And my problems disappear.
For you are the one meant for me,
I truly love you dear.

I feel the touch of your hand,
And my loneliness seems to fade.
For with you by my side,
I will never be afraid.

I think about your hugs,
And the world is a better place.
I long to see you come back home,
With a hug I will embrace.

I think about the time we share,
And the pain seems less intense.
My eagerness is incredible,
This is the meaning of suspense.

I think about the times to come,
And I get a real big smile.
You’ve been gone so long,
I’ve missed you all the while.

I picture holding you real tight,
And my heart starts beating faster.
I’ll show you how a real man loves,
At this I am the master.

Thinking of you as I fall asleep,
I have some beautiful dreams.
And when I wake up in the morning,
I’m glad our love is extreme.

So think about this poem I wrote,
When you are far from my side.
And think about the love we share,
And let it warm you deep inside.

Sometimes the fate we share,

i don't know how one goes about getting a book published but one day im' going to have to know because im going to write a few books lol....this poem is soooooooo beautiful, have i told you that your talent shines through ALL your poetry??? When you are far from my side, and i think about the love we share, and let it warm you deep inside...geez that's deep and sooo beautifully written, your wife must be on cloud 9 with each poem you ever write to her...you truly have a wonderful special gift my friend...thanks for sharing this one among all your other poetry.....
