Array ( [sid] => 89855 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Paths [time] => 2005-04-04 15:49:45 [hometext] => Well... it's really self-explanitory... it's about paths, and the one I've chosen to take and the one I'm thinking of switching too... [bodytext] => I've wandered off this path in the past
And the happiness I found didn't last
But I'm standing at this edge once more
Haven't I learned this lesson from before?

And there she stands, reaching out
Now I know what she's talking about
She loves me, just as I'm in love with her
Everything but she and me is a blur

I know He stands at the end of this road
Ready to take from me my entire load
If I look to him, this decision is made
And my love for her will slowly fade

If I ask for help, He would grant me anything
But I'm not sure I want the help He'd bring
He loves me more then He could show
But it's not something I feel, it's what I know

I look again to her, and this time I hesitate
Those blurs around me are trying to communicate
I can't quite make out what they're saying
Something about not going, something like "staying"

I see her standing where she's always been
I battled this darkness between us before, didn't win
I'm working up the courage to try this again
So Her love can take this heart... and it can mend [comments] => 2 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 11 [informant] => yellow_sundragon [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

This poem is filled with lots of emotions. When I read it i see a person standing at a mirror looking at herself trying to make a good decision. That kind of poem is always a great one.
