[hometext] => This song was inspired by events that took place in Bremerting Wa /The place where I worked for 3 months. I thought long and hard about posting this as it is different from how I normally write. I think this is appropriate for my 100th poem.

Do you think that you are better than them, cause you think or you act in a different way what the **** gives you the right to say; I don't like you cause you're not the same I won't treat you with equality You might very well be treated the same way if you keep on living in your heresy! A man was killed in the streets today dragged by a pick-up to an early grave Because he was different from the ones who killed; they acted so selfish by the acts they willed. Somebody's son, somebody's daughter was gased to death by their brother because of beliefs that did not agree. What the **** happened to equality! Don't tell me how we're so evolved we still don't know how disputes are resolved Instead of trying to remove distrust we just kill those that disagree with us. A man was beaten to death today because he had the flaw of being gay. The people who did it should have known better. One of them forgot about his heritage; how his ancestors suffered because they were black. I guess he concluded it was different. While he pounded his brother with his fist In my mind this is all ******** Are you learning? Are you getting it yet?
