There is a game that stays the same
from start, ‘till it is done.
No rules to break . . . a piece of cake;
it’s not a game that’s lost or won.
It’s More a test of what is best . . .
what was learned, from what was taught!
What can erase the mighty “Ace”?
It trumps . . . or we have naught.
The highest score opens the door
for excellence to pass through.
We bear the cost for what is lost,
but, no-one’s ever been charged for what he knew.
If you know a lot . . . you can call the shot,
stand pat, or, simply back away.
It’s a simple game, but just the same,
only the smart survive at the end of the day.
It’s only a game that stays the same,
from start, ‘till it is done.
No rules to break . . . but, for heaven’s sake
games are meant to be lost . . . or won!
Do your best to win (winning’s not a sin).
It’s a prelude to a better day.
When you draw the ace put it in its place,
and the weight of the world will pass away.

The central Cardinal virtue - "HOPE" - whosoever is able to implant it into the human heart, - to him, belongs the world.
(Pieree Teil;hard de Chardin)

Faith, Hope and Love, these three- the latest the highest, but without Hope it cannot be pursued nor won. nor can anyone run in the race for the prize St. Paul speaks so well of.
Very profound and inspirational and exceedingly well-penned .
There will soon be a posting entitled "Doubt" as a complimentary write-up to your brilliant lines.
Be blessed
AMDG
Elizabeth.
