another lesson learned
How come I"m always
the one to get burned?

Nothing lasts forever
it all has an end
I really don't think
I can just be your friend

The way that I felt
the things that we did
All my emotions
I just can't rid

I'll honestly try
but I promise you this
never again will our lips
share a kiss

Never again
Will I feel your embrace
And never again
will my hand feel your face

Those eyes I could stare at
and dream of at night
are just another weakness
in this losing fight

All of these things
I will miss without a doubt
but at least now I know

This poem brought tears to my eyes... it made me think of a girl I used to know...

...after all the pain we face all thats left is to walk on and keep writing...

wow, your emotions really scream out in this write, it's so easy to know the way you were feeling and what mindset u were in when u wrote it, etc. The word u used to rhyme were also cleverly chosen, and it's glad to see a sort of positive end to this one. Another amazing write Brenna : )
