Would tears be real or would they be fake?
Would my funeral you attend?
Would you be with me right until the end?

Or would you from my world disappear,
Would you miss me & cry a tear?
Upon my head stone what would it read?
Will it tell how my heart had to bleed?

Would anyone come to my lonely funeral?
Just how many people would wish me well?
How many flowers would people lay?
Will they stamp on my grave & bid me good day.

I wonder if I would die alone?
Or will anyone answer the call on their phone,
Or would they ignore my final plea,
After all it is only poor, little me.

Or maybe a party would dance on my grave,
As down here in hell my soul can’t be saved,
If I died would I be left to rot?
If I died would I be totally forgot?

There is no way Pixie that you would be forgotten ... your spirit would be what you really are and you would become a fairy and move in with Bernard and his mouse and the dragons and live with all the other fairies doing fairy stuff . And there would be mourning the world across, that you were gone ... but we would still have your words to comfort us.

Nazzy ~

Very touching, Pixie....
I'm sure you won't ever be forgotten...even by those you have touched by just your words.. But then, you aren't going anywhere in a long time....
Hugs

well, i think everyone dies alone and will rot in the end. remembering is very important but we forget so fast. death is not comprehendible and memories will fade year by year. writing leaves something immortal until it is not read anymore. it's not important how many people will remember you if you are in peace with yourself during your lifetime.
great write & important thoughts.

A good poem filled with very pertinent
questions, but I am sure you would be deeply
missed both by your friends at home and the
friends that you have made across the world
on YPDC. I hope that you are doing well I
have missed talking to you.

Oh man, I've asked those same questions hundreds and thousands of times. Way to turn it into a poem. Tanya
