Array ( [sid] => 8959 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => New Year Thoughts [time] => 2002-12-20 22:40:00 [hometext] => Dedicated to:
All the U.S. Soldiers.
May this New Year keep you safe and bring you home soon. [bodytext] => New Year Thoughts

The New Year is here
Many of us have nothing to fear
Resolutions are made
The Christmas rush has begun to fade
Life is beginning to settle
Wives are starting to huddle
Husbands will be deployed
Hard times have come
And we want them home
Their job is to fight
To make sure we are safe throughout the night
Our soldiers will be far away
We have to stay strong every day
Awaiting the day that they return
Returning to our arms
Returning to our lives
When that day comes
Happiness will truly fill our hearts and our homes.
