Turn off the outside world
Put them all on mute
Pay attentions to mine
My music is deafening
But then again
So are their screams
My world of static
A thousand words per second
Flow through my head
With intentions of flooding
There is not word like vociferous
Vocal yet electric
A harmony I have never known
Another perfect thing in my world
And like her it takes all my pain away
Another thing that keeps going
When all that I touch turns to fecal matter
Rather than just turning to ***** myself
I just close it off
And go insane
In the world between my headphones

Oh I could soooooooooo relate. I have an mp3 player and the little internal earphones. I keep it literally clipped on my waist if possible and I tune out the world--every possible moment that I can.

We all need an outlet on bad days.

Insanity, isn't such a bad things sometimes.

Reality, can be much worse...

This had a darker feel but still poetic.
