Like me.
Everything has been erased.

Everything is nothing.
Drowning in my own fear,
I let myself be buried,
Beneath the sand of my mind.
I want to breathe,
To feel the oxygen of life,
Fill my empty body,
But it rejects me.

I can’t seem to see past,
The scars in my eyes.
Blinding me,
From the happiness I’ll never see.
Curling up,
I sit in the dark,
And wait.

Lying lifeless in my pit,
Tears dribble down my face.
I hit myself,
To make me feel.
But still,
I’m numb.

Nothing is real.

Release me from this emptiness,
This pain,
This nothing,
This death on earth.
