Loving you?
Hating me?
Hating everything?

Or is it something else?
The blood dripping from self-inflicted wounds
As I hide those wounds from the world
I know pain

It's not that I like pain
But physical pain
Eases emotional pain
And sometimes that's just what I need

I hate pain
But pain is my life
Using pain to ease pain
I am addicted [comments] => 6 [counter] => 420 [topic] => 72 [informant] => high_on_duct_tape [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 18 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => self-harmpoetry )

One can ease one's pain if one will let him.

I feel your pain and it seems you feel you have no other place to go but to cut. a place you been before a place that will not grab you in death like a suicide but close enough and that as far IS THAT YOU WILL GO..... He is the light of the world, He came to bring life so we can have it abudantly. a promise we can lean on. But we have to let him.

I have so many "not on of my better poems" that I wonder of any are in the better category - Of course I had to stop reading your sentiment.

This was good, sad, painful. I especially liked this:

Using pain to ease pain
I am addicted

I can see the truth in that.

Nice job-
mj

Yes, I know what you are talking about, and I am sorry that you know of this. it is addicting and it is what helps "heal" emotional pain, you have caught what its like to suffer like this. I will pray that yoiu will nnot have to go through this again... Be well.
