I'll never miss them, nor the class
Of people lying, cheating, stealing,
And betraying without feeling.
Majesty of kings and queens
Are memories of broken dreams.
My life spent here was cleary wasted.
Only if I could replace it,
I'd change it all, I'd learn much more
About the way life was before
I screwed it up, lost what I had.
I didn't think things could get bad.
But time goes on without the past.
And in my mind, these things won't last. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 263 [topic] => 67 [informant] => cherrycoke [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => schoolproblems )

Wow... I'm a freshman in highschool right now and I've thought lately on this very subject...Of making the most of these next few years, not only taking advantage of my youth to have fun, but rather to better my future when I finally get out on my own. Great write. It really made me think... We - people in general - need more poetry like that.
Thanx-a-million.
