My stomach aches from all the stress
My hair wet from all the rain
Bloodstains spattered across my dress
My fingers blistered from writing
Run away notes scattered in front of me
My lip ripped apart from biting
My eyes so sore from tears, I can’t see
My mind pulsing from thought
How long it’s been I can’t remember
My fists bruised from the fights I’ve fought
It’s been three long months since December
My ears ringing from the screams
Still echoing against these hollow walls
My hands holding broken dreams
Wanting to let go of it all
My feet tired from running away
My heart broken from falling so many times
My tongue worn, not knowing what to say
There’s nothing left for me to call mine
My throat torn from my shouts
Unheard and alone I sadly remain
My voice cracked from calling out
I’m lost in the dark and I’m so afraid
My soul cries out for a lifeline
But I’ve ruined any chance of a rescue
The ticking stops, I’m out of time
I’m sorry I couldn’t hold on for you

This reminds me so much of something i wrote. The differance is you are talking about somebody and not about decisions you will make. I like this poem alot. It must have drawn from deep inside you memories of the relationship you are talking about. 5 stars

My voice cracked from calling out
I’m lost in the dark and I’m so afraid

i don't know why, but the phrase "so afraid" is incredibly powerful in this sentence. amazing job

Like it very much.
It seems like a young poem to me.
A lot of people will relate to this in one way or another.
Everyine has an inner pain.

Well done.
