We always say we lead the worst of two lives, but you can never know for sure. Our lives get filled with diseases for which there is no cure. We try to look upon the lighter side, but mostly we cannot. They live their lives with little joy and major fraught. We live the best we can, one day at a time. We try to do our best to avoid a crime, whether unholy or unlawful. In the darkest of times we tell ourselves it will only get better, it couldn't be any worse. Yet we know it can, and it almost always will. All we truly hope for is to finally get some peace. We finally get it, but it's only for a minute. The longest peace we realize we have, is only gotten when we sleep, and is usually gotten only after we weep. We are so glad for at least being aloud this time, even though we know it will be back to normal once we finally awake. Then we see the peace gotten after taking our final breath. We see that it's only possible, and we finally get our eternal peace. Nicely written. The world is truelly loosing everything precious. Brothers killing brothers, sisters selling them selves, I hate it all. You are right in this poem. There is no more peace. Good write, every word screams out in anguish. I love it.
