On a night like this there is no magic there is no bliss
Got a heart full of guilt, an empty space and faces I miss
The stars seem to serve no purpose except swallow up my darkened soul
Overshadowing me with false light and a grief I can’t control
I’m reminded of my wrong and many blind mistakes
I don’t deserve to see the light for the unrighteous road I take
The darkness suits me well for I am dark deep down within
Take me from it all Heavenly Father from this hellish life of sin

This is such a well written dark poem. I truly enjoyed reading this, since I can relate to some extent. Excellent work, as always.

wow. very....dark, i guess. so well written, however. the rhyme just flows, no awkward pauses.
i know how easily these feelings can happen, but keep your head pointed high for Him, and remember what he sacrificed for us, so that you may rise with him.
