[hometext] => I WROTE THIS LAST NIGHT. I'M TIRED OF PEOPLE SAYING THEY SUPPORT THIS WAR , BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE WAR IS OVER. DON'T SPEAK ON SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED , KEEP IT REAL,THATS MY MOTTO. PLEASE COMMENT AFTERWORDS.
[bodytext] => I'm getting tired of hearing about patriotism , does anybody know when Jesus is supposed to make His comeback , I never believed in the patriotic pride of any country , cause to me , its all just a bunch of crap.
How can society blame the rise of crime on music , such as rap , do you know what happens when people get tired of reaching for help , they learn to adapt.
Men and women without money form a line to join the service , but what Uncle Sam fails to tell you , is the consequences of serving this so - called "purpose."
Some soliders that do return home are missing arms or even legs , you know whats sad though , they end up homeless , but do you ever remember their names , can you name ten soliders that died in the past thrity years , dont feel bad , cause I cant either , so quit telling me you support our troops , cause you dont want to add you fire to my ether.
Bombs and gun shots are going off as I speak these words , what would you do if you were born in a country where the smoke covered the site of the birds?
How can mankind justify in killing one another , before this war , were'nt we all supposed to be brothers and sisters?
We are all children of God , but where did we all go wrong , I know I wont ever get my answer , cause life is not prolonged.
The media only shows you one side of this war , just enough for you to hate a foreign race , and these are supposed to be our fellow americans , please their a disgrace.
If I could look in our presidents eyes I'd ask him, "what is the purpose of this war , tell me Mr. know it all , what are we really fighting for?"
Now close your eyes , and think about what Hitler did to the Jews , do you really believe that it wont happen to you?

| I know the feeling man. I've already lost my best friend in this war. For what? So Bush can make his daddy proud? Bull*****. Our men and women shouldn't have to be dying for some other country. Plus, it's like we've all forgot about Osama. I liked Eminem's song Mosh "Strap him wit an AK-47 let him spray, fight his own war, let him impress daddy that way". that says it all. Great poem. keep em comin |

| I seem to disagree! Bush has done So much for this country!!!! THINK OF ALL THEM PPL who died on 9-11 all those kids who are missing mothers,fathers,g-parents!!! we shudnt let them get away with it....... my father is in the military hes been over there and its all for a good cause,,,, if we handt taken action think of how many more poeple wud have died,,, |

We're fighting because we need something to fight for. What's the use in peace? It doesn't fire an economy or keep an electorate fearing the unknown unknowns that may or may not exist.

| That was such a great poem! I notice a few grammatical errors though. I dislike Bush. Why can't he just take our troops out of Iraq? there r no weapons of mass destruction! they've already looked. We basically caught the bad guys, so we're killing innocent ppl over there also. We're in a global deficit also. It costs like thousands of dollars a day in Iraq. That poem totally made me think about all this. Keep on writing about what u feel. I like ur mind ;) Jenny |

Provocative. I am not for any war. Christ last commandment to his friends was--I leave you a new commanment--"Love One another"
There will always be wars and rummers of war-these things must be.The world groans like a woman with birth pangs.
Satan is "Prince of the earth" and holds much power.
Your poem although not great does pose the condistion of man--man tempted by sin. Good write my friend.
