what good comes of this?
were are the profits of honesty?
the reaping from sincarity
im such a sweet guy
i can say all the words
but were the hell do they get me?
i show my feelings
awww and sensitive too....
am i?
its a step up i guess
from being hated...
and yet...
whats left for the good?
for the striveing to be decent?
cant i trade my conscience for happyness?
take a taste of heartlessness,
mabey a little bit of uncareing basterd
give up on feeling, trying, thinking and worrying
what if this sensitive nice guy just gave up and
decided to be, the basterd, the prick?
could the shoe fit?
just to become happy?
could i?

I hear ya on this one...It does often seem that the good guy always finishes last. It may seem like us women are always picking the 'bad boys' but I assure you, most of us don't do it by choice!! We (hopefully) quickly discover their true colours and move on to 'good guys' such as yourself! So hang in there, and I sure hope things have improved for you since this write...
