No flesh covers her; she’s all skin and bone,
Her tiny body boars no clothes at all
To the world her helpless voice calls.

But no one ever stops to care
No one wraps up her tiny body so bare
They just walk past without even a glance
Not giving the child a second chance.

Her tiny arms are open wide
Her heart has nearly stopped beating inside,
Eyes full of tears are starting to fall
In a world full of giants, she feels so small.

Life for her had no always been bad
Happiness she had felt only with her dad,
But when he died, Mum left her on the street
Not listening even when she had begged at her feet.

She’d survived on the road for two years
Never once had she showed any signs of fear,
But today her body was giving up
Slowly she was leaving this vicious dump.

The world became a blur; she knew she wouldn’t last long
But people still never took notice; just walked alone,
She closed her eyes and with one last breath
The little girl finally came to her death.

But sometimes her tiny eyes you can still see
You can still hear her helpless cry of plea.
