The little I've been through so far
I realize my choices aren't always right
And there's no use wishing on stars

I'm the hypocrite
I decide what is wrong
Then look over my life
And see that I've been doing that all along

I'm the sinner
BUilt of regret and guilt
Striving to be the winner
Doing things for which I am not built

I try to help people
But I only make it worse
Could it be possible that I need to find
Who of which I am first?

I turn my back
On the cold things I can find
And I sometimes pretend I do not have
This twisted state of mind

Yet I still believe
And I still know
I need to leave
I must let go

Explore my heart
My mind and soul
Figure out what makes me...
My true self unfolds. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 184 [topic] => 61 [informant] => dreamer_4_eternity [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Very well written, something I can certainly relate to.
When I look over my life
The little I've been through so far
I realize my choices aren't always right
And there's no use wishing on stars
So true! Brilliantly written, can't wait to see more of your work.
Keep writing!
