Stood above everything
Slipped on his own grace

A forest of thought
Choked the saplings off from light
So died evergreen

Inside a river
Let go and flow like water
That is your freedom

The mouth of a horse
Gives birth to sounds like puzzles
Ignorance is bliss

Memories like hills
Stand out on the horizon
To show you the way

Soar like an eagle
And let things dance under wings
You are your own wind

Usher in winter
As you would summer's bright smile
They are equal friends

Enter the canyon
To explore the depths of you
Hold dear what you find

Don't fear the sunset
It is a start and an end
Embrace the cycle

The island of peace
Can only be disrupted
By the waves of thought

The ocean of thoughts
Threatens to drown you and I
We must learn to swim

Face the volcano
Embrace the heat and the fires
Less pain than regret

Earth is our mother
She sets our stage with a smile
Respect her aptly

In the tornado
You can only hold onto
The roots of yourself

Fly towards the sun
Just because it is the light
And it will burn you [comments] => 2 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Xnoybis [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Wow! I love what you created with these! Thankyou for sharing. All your haikus were thought provoking pieces. Much peace to you. Laura
