Let me advise you to brace yourself, welcome to my world.
Here the kids are split between the Mexicans, Blacks, and Whites.
There’s no such thing as “neutral” when you’re caught up in a fight.
Here the teachers ramble on to make the time go by.
They honestly don’t have a clue their students are getting high.
Here the kids are so confused, they’ve started to sleep around.
They’ll go anywhere, say anything, for a spot that’s on school grounds.
Here there isn’t policy; it’s one against the other.
Here there isn’t family; you can’t go about it like sister to brother.
Here there isn’t acceptance, the cliques are really tight.
Here there isn’t unity; everyone acts in spite.
Here there isn’t any trust, in no one you can confide.
Here there aren’t any “rules” ; the authorities let anything slide.
Here there is no “working things out”; these people hold grudges close.
Here you can really get hurt by the one you love the most.
Here there is no safety, someone always gets hurt.
Here we play with fire, even though we always get burnt.
Everyone has a mask, everyone is tough.
Everyone is confused and lost; things are really rough.
Looking at the life I live, seeing what I see,
I hope that you can understand a little more of me.
Now, what are you thinking looking at this place?
Do you really think your darling baby’s safe?
Now, what are you thinking, looking at my day?
Do you feel as comfortable sending me away?
No hell can be as bad as this; there really are no words.

Well I'd say u started out with a masterpeice.
this is very sad but so true in most places. You should send this to all the papers-n-schools accross the planet.
I live near a small town but I've traveled aloot and my neice use to be married to a gang banger wonna be from California but his mother sent him to washington State 'cause all his friends were getting killed. He is Mexican. I lived in Washington State at the time. I was there when he found out that his last friend was killed in california. So I have an idea how it goes down. He's back in California now and my neice is with someone else.
He's grown but I'm sure he's probably there getting revinge.
Very good writing.
luv, huggs, prayers,
emy
