[bodytext] => Chrysanthemums of Red I asphyxiate words, As the amaranth grow. I search for the pure ones, Ever so slow. Chrysanthemums of red, Seemed so beautiful. They bloom on the dark land, I try to consume them full. Oh, I watched the cherished ones, They shined so beautifully. I am the creator of them, Now watch as they destroy me. I wished for the stars to come out. I knew they would appear... Saw not a single one. All of them desolate, My greatest fear has begun. As the sensuous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer. And as my forgiveness gets swallowed, I will die in despair. --Evan L.-- more of my poetry at: http://thepoemsofsorrow.com [comments] => 2 [counter] => 167 [topic] => 32 [informant] => thepos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
