I have met a lady upon the net
And though its true we have not “met”
There was something there, I must say
From the first second, that very day

Well I’ve been hurt, back in the past
And back then I said, it was the last
So like a fool, I closed the door
And then I went to chat no more

Emails arrived, and went without reply
I read and filed, this fool am I
And then one day, my mood was right
I went to chat, to this angel so bright

We spoke for hours, and even more
Someone now had, a foot in the door
I told myself, on the net you cant fall
To guard against, letting down my walls

But then it happened, something sparked
And within my heart, you made your mark
This beautiful angel, to whom I spoke
Had just managed to deal, that fatal stroke

She is a beauty, both in and out
So now I say to all, no, wait I’ll shout
“she is a lady, so fair and true
and yes …. I do love you”
