Array ( [sid] => 88611 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Crash [time] => 2005-03-24 15:50:08 [hometext] => Explanation: I'm dreaming, and I'm in a strange place. I don't know why I'm scared. I give up, so overwhelmed by my fear. My mind is racing and I realize I wan't dreaming at all. My nightmares are worse than this twisted reality. [bodytext] => The footsteps circle around me,
and the wind blows through my hair,
as I try to find the source of my fear.
Running, racing, rushing through a grassy dreamland,
where nightmares disappear,
my toes press down on the crisp grass.
And I wonder for just a minute:

WHY AM I SCARED?
WHY IS MY HEART BEATING SO HARD?

My body sinks down,
laying there, spread like butter on the ground,
and my vision darkens.
The gray droops over my eyes,
and taints my perspective.
My thoughts scurry, only to be collected,
and thrown out of my mouth.
The angry clouds cluster in my eyes,
and the storm is set off with a thundering,

CRASH!

The threads of my skin weaken and break,
unraveling the seams of my scars.
Small droplets of a crimson rain trickle down my face,
and I let the sky's wounds drench me in blood.
And I realize I've been sleeping with my eyes wide open,
afraid of what might happen if they're shut.

Wow this was a very powerful and intense write. I often have dreams that i can't even begin to believe popped into my mind. For instance last night i dreamed one of my neices died in my father's arms. I am still stunned by that. It tore me up. I think we often dream of what we fear most, or what we desire most. I'm not quite sure... which one...but i do know i do NOT desire for my neice to die. I think that is what i fear. It's very confusing, something i don't think the human mind will ever fully understand. Put a Bible under your pillow, if your a believer that is. It tends to help me sometimes. Now that i'm done rambling, i will say wonderful write. I will be looking forward to more. Much love.
