Damn you, why did you not tell me,
You listened to what I was saying quietly,
You should have told me my words are hurting,
I never realized I was hurting my friend,

But “why” did it have to be a surprise?
Why did I have to find out on my own?
Why could you not have stopped my words?
It’s all gone now, gone forever what we had,
I never realized I was hurting my friend,

It’s difficult to comprehend I hurt you,
You said you forgave me, but I don’t believe you,
I just wonder why you never told me,
Why did I have to find out on my own?
I never realized I was hurting my friend,

I stare out thinking about our friendship,
Looking at the moving creatures disappear,
Why I had to hurt the one I trusted most,
I never realized I was hurting my friend,

It’s too late to go back and change time,
I just wish you could have told me,
I just wish you could stopped me, but you say NO,
Now you don’t want to hang out anymore,
I never realized I was hurting my friend,

What was that surprise all about?
Damn you, why did you not tell me,
You listened to what I was saying quietly,
You should have told me my words are hurting,
