A girl desperate to survive.

I知 just a confused girl, full of hate,
Whose answers came way too late.

I知 just a junky, stoned out of her mind,
Searching for the hope she cannot find.

I知 just a scarred girl, whose been betrayed,
Whose heart is torn and frayed.

I知 just a girl whose afraid of the day ahead,
That girl who trembles from the things you致e said.

I知 just a girl who bleeds her pain away,
A girl who can find no better way.

I知 just a girl who feels empty inside,
Whose tears she cannot hide.

I知 just a girl who wants to be loved,
Who wants encouragement from up above.

A girl who wants to end the pain,
She cannot see the sun through the rain.

I知 just another statistic, labeled under a chart
Suicidal is the column I知 apart.

Kate why don't you become the girl you love, the girl that fights back, the girl with dreams, the girl that isn't just another statistic, the girl that makes a statement with life, the girl that won't quit, the girl that won't let this harsh world take control, the girl that gets some counseling. It was a great write. I thought you expressed yourself so well that it caused all this worry to come bounding out of me. Keep writing. Love yourself sister. It HAS to start there, Much peace to you. Laura

Fab write, well done, and welcome to YPDC.

I agree with a previous comment. it's a very nice writting, you have a talent and you should use it to express yourself . see beaty in little things. writting poetry is just one of the reasons you should feel good about yourself.

I really like this poem. The lines are so true and I can relate. Also they are short, and not complicated. Also I love the rhyme. Every single stanza is so meaningful and so true. I love it so much! Awesome write.
