I take it... this is a domestic abuse problem? I can relate to abuse... not that kind... but I can relate. I have known someone too... that has been in this situation.
A good write... there is a lot of emotion expressed here.... a lot of fear... a lot of pain and anger.

I have a mother who's in this vicious cycle, I would wake up to her cries... This poem went straight to the heart. Thank you for sharing it.
