loseing the love she had searched for,,
it wasn't her fault,,she did everything right,,
she cared and fought, for what she believed in,, " So don't blame her"

He didn't know what to do or expect,,
it was a mystery to him,,
Its not what he expected it would be,,
For her eye's cried once more,,

who fault?,,his ,,because he didn't believe,,
it was possible to love in this fashion,,
he was scared and afraid that he would say or do something to hurt her,,,
" he didn't want to see her sad eye's no more"

"she deserves better"
better than he could give her,,
maybe she really loved him?
but couldn't prove it,,
for sad eye's cries once more,,,

Grrr lol...it angers me that people let fear ruin so many things in a relationship...he was scared and afraid he would say or do somthing to hurt here...he didnt want to see her sad eye's no more...and she deserves better, better than he could give her.....but what if he was all she needed??? what if he was all that could make her smile??? that's why i always say .....always follow your heart even no matter how painful or fearful or harmful you might think it may be....because your heart can't go wrong and even if it doesnt work out in the end of it all.....at least you would have given your all....and shown your love to be ......ahhh...i could go on and on with this subject lol.....thanks for sharing this one Craig....didn't mean to write a novel in your comment section lol...

I kind of agree with above comment...I spent years in a relationship fighting for it. We were so perfect in so many ways...most obviously, we were great friends. He held on to me because he felt he should be in love with me, we SHOULD have been the perfect couple. Eventually his not letting me go, led me to be insecure about myself because somewhere in my heart I could feel he didn't love me the way I needed him to and I blamed myself. SO I guess I'm slightly of a different opinion to Oreo(?), if it's not right be honest and let go....
Me and him are now good friends. Perhaps as we should've been all along.
Oops...another novel. That's what you have stirred with this poem.
Thanks for sharing....
