I can’t undo the tears you’ve cried,
But every day I’m here with you
When you’re happy or when you’re blue.

I’ll lend a shoulder for you to cry
And spread your wings when you want to fly,
I’ll listen to your troubles with every ear
And bring happiness when you feel fear.

If sometimes you are feeling down
I’ll turn a smile from you frown,
And my eyes will always shine with hope
Whenever you feel like you can’t cope.

Just take my hand and you will see
What it feels like to be so free,
We’ll go through each hill you have to climb
Together we’ll face just one day at a time.

Whenever you feel like you’re always alone
I’ll take you on a journey; away we can roam,
And there nothing will worry you anymore
I’ll show you the key to your door.

I might not be able to wipe your tears
But always remember that I will be here,
I’ll wait for you when you don’t want to talk
I’ll stand by you when you don’t feel like a walk.

And those days when you need a friend
I’ll be right here until the very end,
And those days when you feel so fragile
I’ll help you learn how to smile! [comments] => 3 [counter] => 255 [topic] => 16 [informant] => white_tiger [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
