All her secrets are cleverly sealed; her mind is forever in a daze,
Each step she takes is a burden of her life; all which she must conquer
But no one ever sees her pain; no one ever reaches out to help her.

Underneath her façade, she has so many worries; will no one will she share
Precious stories to be locked up forever; tales that are ever so rare,
No one understands what she has gone through; never did they see
Her troubles in her past that always resisted her to be so free.

A dark cloud hangs above her head; angry teardrops waiting to fall
Haunting faces she sees in her dreams; searing voices she can hear them call,
Footsteps constantly walking towards her; quickly she turns to hide
Why can’t they just leave her alone? Why must they always hurt her inside?

Shadows creeping in the darkness; only one light burns so strong in the night
That glow is in her heart; ready to battle out any soul in her sight,
She can fell tears burning in her eyes, but never once does she give in
She can see their faces shining in the moonlight; she can even feel their sly grin.

Fighting in the darkness, ready to save her soul; she could feel the battle getting heated
But when morning came, she lay motionless on the ground, finally defeated.

AWESOME! I loved this. This is one of the best poems I have read in a long while
on this site! I could visualize every scene
in my head and this poem had a type of
futuristic aspect and was mystic/mysterious.
I LOVED IT!Keep 'em coming. The last two lines gave this a final blow out finale!
