[hometext] => A poem of sleepless nights, and the curse of memory.....
[bodytext] => Death's blade hurts not the dying, But in the living its cut runs deep. The wound it leaves may fade with time, But still its sting awaits us in our sleep. To wake in fear, sheets cold with death's harsh grip, And call your name into the shadowed night, To feel the loss, fresh etched into the soul, This waking nightmare waits beyond my sight. And then the fall, the rapid tumbling shock, As tears break forth to blur the shadows more. To hide the empty space where once you lay, And dim the memories of times before. But still I stay within this shattered frame, Mere cowadice it is that holds me here. To circle round this fragment of a thought, Where all is gone that once I held so dear.
