[bodytext] => I wake up With the same expression Every day The same placid feeling The only colors seen Are grey I brush my teeth And vainly check my face For any irregularities That I can trace And as my hand scans I cut myself Upon the ledge of the mirror But as the blood runs down the sink I gaze indifferently at my newest disfigurement And I wonder if all feel the same If feelings hurt for so long That they are beaten into being unchanged Is this how I am to feel?
