So deep that my life's falling apart
The day you left and never came back
Turned my world upside down
Charred and black
I'm baffled and still don't know what to do
My heart is still yearning for you
Why did you go and leave me this way
Unanswered questions
Still 'til this day
I thought our love would last forever
Through the storms and sunny weather
But this burnt heart beats slowly fade
As the tears on my face masquerade
Time fuels the temples of my mind
How could I have lost a love so divine
When I turned my back and love lost its way
My heart laid broken
Shattered and dismayed
The stars have forgotten their glow
The moon shaded by umbrae
I wear this deep shadowed blackheart
Until you find your way back to me someday [comments] => 10 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 22 [informant] => mina-1 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

This is so beautifully written, and a piece I can certainly relate to all too well. You captured the true feelings of yearning for a lost love. Great work.

I know what you're goin through, and I know it's tough. Give it time, that's all you can do. And who knows maybe they will find their way back to you, it's not impossible :) wonderful write!

I find my self callused in this world, (although my love wasn't lost but hurled... couldn't help that one), and i think why poetry suffers for it, but you let it out, a great quality. I enjoy your work. Thanks for sharing.
