Array ( [sid] => 8830 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => I'd Rather Not Remember [time] => 2002-12-18 22:00:00 [hometext] => this is about the relationship i have with my parents...it might sound a little stupid but please take the time to read it. its one of the few of my own works that i am proud of. [bodytext] => my eyes to my feet as i try and find my way
Angels would weep for me but i rather avoid the obvious
burning ember scars my entity, left hopefully frail
He would never hold his hand on mine, to him i'm hideous
asleep im comfortable its the only place thats beautiful

ill take this shot and end my suffering
swallow it all and take my punishment

so pure that its almost rare
ill wrap myself in her reflection
as imperfect as she is she can heal me
a symbol of everything she's my angel

ill take the shot to end my suffering
and i fall like the liar that i am and that i choose to be

I Am Not My Fathers Son

let him learn to see my eyes

so i will fail like the son that i choose to be
i will fail
i will fail

Shes not afraid to comfort me.
