MOMMY IF I COULD TALK, THESE ARE WHAT MY WORDS WOULD SAY, AS YOU KNOW I’M GROWNING BIGGER WITH EVERY PASSING DAY. I KNOW I TAKE UP MOST OF YOUR TIME, WITH MY CONSTANT LITTLE NEEDS, WASHING CLOTHES, CHANGING DIAPERS, AND MY LITTLE BOTTLE FEEDS. BUT I PROMISE THERE WILL COME ADAY WHEN I’LL DO IT ON MY OWN, WHEN MY DAYS OF BEING HELPLESS ARE HOPEFULLY ALL BEEN SOWN. EACH NEW DAY I’M TOTALLY AMAZED WITH WHAT MY BODY’S ABLE TO DO, AND I’LL TRY TO BE MORE INDEPENDENT, WHEN I’M GROWING STAGE IS THROUGH. BUT FOR NOW I NEED YOUR HELP TO GET THROUGH EACH AND EVERY DAY, AND I’LL TRY TO EXPRESS MY THANKSFULNESS IN MY OWN SPECIAL WAY. MOST DAYS I DON’T WANT TO CLOSE MY EYES, FOR THERES SO MUCH TO EXPLORE, SEEING AND LEANING OH SO MANY THINGS FROM LIFE’S LITTLE TOUR. I HOPE YOU REALIZE JUST HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE YOU BEING THERE, EVEN IF IT MEANS YOU HAVE TO SET ASIDE ALL YOUR OTHER CARES. AND MOM, I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND WHY SOMETIMES I HAVE TO CRY, IT’S MY WAY OF GETTING YOUR ATTENTION, AND THAT’S THE REASON WHY. SO BEAR WITH ME MOM AS I MAKE THIS TRANSITION FROM A BABY TO A MAN, AND I PROMISE I’LL TRY TO BE THE BEST BABY THAT YOU I CAN.
