[bodytext] => I am but a complex soul in this simple,
Vast world of Ignorance...
The population with knowledge grows short everyday,
And then there will only be few, to none...
We are but slaves to the media,
And stupidity is our chains...

Forced to see through closed eyes,
All there is... is darkness...
Burdened with the answers to Life's questions,
Molested by Misery's touch,
And we are alien to the world,
Feared because of our wisdom...
Such intellect for a child so young,
I did not choose this...

I have no childhood,
All is long forgotten,
And I go by a different identity...
I walk this endless road blindly,
I care not if I live or die,
For I am eternally bound to this hell...

I have seen such horrors,
Felt greedy hands all over,
Tasted my own blood,
Heard the cries of dying children,
Smelled the arid stench of Death...
All around me...

And what does a child do,
When she sees all of this?
What should she think,
When her father touches her that way?
What should she feel,
When all she had faith in,
Dies forever, and she is left with nothing?

I did not ask for this knowledge,
This great wisdom of life,
But I own it still,
And it shall stay with me till eternity ends...
What doesn't kill you,
Makes you stronger,
And I have yet to die from my past and present...

I shall stand,
Proud and tall,
Through the fog and the ashes...
Of the Fallen...
Of the Ignorant and Unknowing...

Of the FORGOTTEN...

hrm, i cant really say that i liked the tone of this one too well, but this was a good piece all in all. some of your verses had potential to make this brilliant, but some of your verses just took away from them. there was something about your style, that did make this enjoyable to read, and thats all that matters in the end.

A powerful piece, with an edge of hard courage. May your road rise up, and may you know better days.
