Array ( [sid] => 88199 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A Pain Such As This [time] => 2005-03-21 11:11:53 [hometext] => A relationship has a hard time working when it seems like every1 is against it & thats the way it was with mine. Only my mom supported us. So 1 night, it got so bad, we both decided through tears to end things. I have NEVER felt such a pain. [bodytext] => I told you this was it.
Letting go was my choice.
“If we break up, I can never
Again hear your voice”

Cuz I knew that your words,
Would hurt way too much.
And “Friends” would be torture.
Friend, I’d miss your touch.

“I’ll love you…always.”
“So will I.”
But I can’t remember,
If we even said goodbye.

I swear, I was stabbed,
When I hung up the phone.
Before I could cry,
I even missed the dial tone.

I hated the people,
Who pressured us so.
We wouldn’t have done this,
If they left us alone.

The memories came flooding.
I fell to my knees.
Begging you silently,
“Call back, please…”

I lied on the floor.
And could not even cry.
I saw our slow dance,
And the look in your eyes.

I saw our late walks,
It was dark and not day.
But my hand left yours,
As we walked our own ways.

I saw all your smiles,
And numerous laughs.
They echoed inside me,
And fought the truth back.

I hated myself,
And I questioned my choice.
Wondering if I could ever,
Again hear your voice.

“I love you, I’m sorry!”
I said to the phone.
But the voice that didn’t answer,
Was the still dial tone.

I fumbled for something;
Anything to do.
But my brain was too swollen,
With flashbacks of you.

My fingers were shaking.
I tried to make food.
It was obvious that pain,
Took over my mood.

I saw a knife on the counter,
And thought of my wrists.
Anything to get rid of
A pain such as this.

But Mom came in,
And asked what was wrong.
Suicide disappeared,
What took her so long?

I spilled everything,
The tears and the truth.
My legs weak from the pain,
She had to hold me up too.

We talked for a while,
There was nothing she could say.
None of her words,
Made the pain go away.

The phone rang again,
I dried all my tears.
You cried “I’m Sorry, I love you.”
And it all disappeared.

That kind of pain,
Is one you never forget.
It makes people like me,
Wish that they won’t remember
Everything…

(When he called me back at the end, he was crying and he told me that he could not even last another minute without me. He told me that he didn't care about what his family or his church or my friends said, and that he only wanted me. He said if he ever lost me again he would die, and I told him the same thing, so we got back together, despite what everyone would continue to tell us about our relationship. We both promised on that day, that no matter how bad people got, we'd never do that again. Moments like these hurt like crazy. But they sure to show how much love lies between the people involved.) Whew ~ don't do that to me! I was actually sitting there in your house going through all this emotion. Such power, so passion. I could have been the one crying. Great job ~ I really felt this one.

See above. Good luck. That's happened to me before, with people attacking me and him for dating. It didn't work out though, And there weren't many tears.
Hold on to what you've got.
