Our dreams and lives were wasted
When your hopes were decimated.

We shed our blood for you

The memories fade into red

And hate's all you still see.

We fought your war,

Our lasting remembrance

No More Blood

Jen this was really fantastic, you sure do know how to write poems.

It's so mind bogling sometimes how you keep on toping your other works. You clearly have a talent and plenty of it.

the thing i loved most about this write (and i can probably safely say this about all your stuff) is your extremely strong ability to pound in the meaning of your poem into the last few lines. you have an amazing sense of how a conclusion should be written. I really loved that. This poem in particular had a really good message, one that was emotionally toned which made the conclusion have that much more of an impact. Awesome stuff, loved how it tasted too... :P
