From you I'll breakaway.
I've been tied down too long
I've finally realized what your doing is wrong.

You thought I was yours
I thought you were mine
Until I saw your lips meet hers
If that's what you want, fine.

I'm tired of your lies
I'm sick of your show
This is when your control flies
Right out the window

Today's the day
You'll see that I'm stronger
Things won't be ok
If I stay any longer

I forgot what it's like to be free
It's been so long
I can finally be me
You are weak, I am strong.

You can find some other girl
And rub it in my face
But I will do is smile
Because I can heal at my own pace

I can go to sleep
Without sobbing in my pillow
I can decide what I keep
And what I throw out the window

I can wake up
With a smile upon my face
I pour some OJ, I fill the cup to the top
I can take myself out of the race

I can run down the street
With thunder roaring
The rain splattering at my feet
While you are inside mourning

Why do you think I'd miss you?
I'll tell you what I don't miss
Being forced to do things I don't want to do.
And your not-so-innocent kiss

I've been moving on so fast
I laugh harder now
You wished it would last
Let's say I've had my doubts

So goodbye to you
And goodbye to the times
It's time to move
Into the life now mine.

Full of hardened resolve and chin-up determination. I like it - keep rhyming.
