It's taken me the longest time to try and build this bridge
and now all I seem to figure is that I should turn around
and head back down the hill, because although he's worth it

This is so poetically sad, very nicely written though.

Keep writing.

Its apparent that all of us has at one point felt this way and it just twists you inside.

I was along for the ride so to speak all throughout this poem and I felt for you.

Falling in love is like standing on a cliff blindfolded and extending your arms outward and trusting the voice that whispers for you to let yourself go. Do you take the chance and possibly find a great love or do you fall into something painful? I dunno. But half of the fear of falling is the seconds when you are standing on the cliff.

Probably doesn't make a bit of sense....LOL

I'm glad I got the opportunity to read your poem.

Kie
