Array ( [sid] => 87698 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => ''Fairytale'' [time] => 2005-03-16 21:54:13 [hometext] => this poem is obviously about having problems with family members [bodytext] => A hundred thoughts run through her head as she sits still and alone
Her mom expects too much, she's the monster
Her sister's the judge, gruesome and grisly
Her dad, he just causes pain, supports the monster
They all cause pain, but the moster's feared the most
In her fairytale, there are no knights in shining armor
Evil triumphs over good
Pain is stronger than happiness
There is no love, just hate and resentment
She's the princess of pain and unhappiness
Alone she suffers from tears, blood and scars
No one's there to save her, she fights her battles as one, only one
This battle goes on every minute of every day
This is a not a happy fairytale
This fairytale is unhappy and upsetting
This fairytale is my fairytale [comments] => 3 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 48 [informant] => write_whenit_hurts [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

touching poem, like cinderella but with no fairy god mothers, princes or cairages. i can kinda see where your coming from, but my situation is more like a prince and the pauper story. except that there's no way in hell that i'll ever be able to trade places with the prince. but keep your chin up, i belive it was longfellow who said "if the road your traveling is easy then it probably doesn't lead anywhere" (or something along those lines).

Obviously it hurts, but if you only write when it hurts, your not going to have much fun writing. do it when it doesn't hurt too, okay? And welcome to the site.
