I was never loved by my mummy and daddy,
You both had your selfish reasons,
Your poor baby suddenly went out of season.

Just one night you spent out of passion,
Such a shame that a baby had to happen,
Hey here I was but you didn’t care,
When I needed love you wasn’t there.

Mum I am glad you died,
When I found out I never even cried,
Dad you were a waste of space.
Something that was so easy to erase.

You both deserve each other,
Underneath deaths cover,
You brought me into this cruel world,
A helpless & scared baby girl.

But you both decided to turn your back,
It seems in loving & consideration you lacked,
I write this to let you both know,
That until I die I will hate you both so.

Thanks Mum and thanks Dad,
I just hope that you are now glad,
One of you is dead the other god knows where,
All my love from the daughter that no longer cares.

I don't know what to think of this poem. One is that I am glad you got your feelings out. two I don't know about what has happened in your life to say a thing. three. I think that you need to forgive them in order to move on in your life and have happiness. four. No one can help you but GOD take his hand and look forward to having a wonderful life with him. five. here is a hug.

A powerful and courageous write. Very emotional and wonderfully written. You certainly deserved better. Perhaps if you can someday forgive them for your sake, not theirs, you can lessen the emotional impact they have on you.

Peace be with you,
Willofree

This was such a sad write. Can't imagine having parents like that. I do agree with Willofree about forgiving them, going on, love yourself. I read your work alot Pixie, I hear so much pain and I hate to hear that you have so much trouble loving yourself. I used to not love myself, I have been learning. I still have a ways to go, but I have come so far. I don't know Pix what help if any you have seeked for your problems, but counseling did help me alot. The real key to happiness is being happy with yourself and loving yourself. Best of luck to you and as always I wish you much peace my sister.

Harsh, but it seems to be well-placed hatred to me.
I found out a while back that my bio-dad was in a drug-induced diabetic comma... I didn't have any emotion and it was just due to our relationship (actually, strictly the lack thereof) and it was really hard to me to understand that not feeling anything was okay this time.
This poem reminded me of that.
You make a good connection with your audience.

Lots of love and peace,

Chelsea
