Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray I never wake.
I never want to feel the pain,
I never want to ache.
Never wake,
To morning light.
I hope and pray,
I die tonight.
I pray to God,
To let me go.
Say I'm sorry,
To them who love me so.
Tell them I'm happy,
Tell them I'm dead.
Tell them I died,
Peacefully in bed.
My body's shaking,
I'm trembling inside.
It always seems to find me,
No matter where I hide.
My craziness causes smiles,
Happiness causes tears.
God, no one can see it,
I've been like this for years.
Tell them all I'm sorry,
Tell them my farewell.
Tell them all I'll see them soon,
In a place called hell.

This part is so true for me. What you wrote there is just, it makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one who is this way. Thank you so much for posting this.

I've been there before. I'm still here though, there is some purpose for me being here that i'm not yet aware of it. I loved this poem. I can relate quite well. I couldn't have phrased it any better. Great write.
