The Call #3 Loud and Clear

Contributed by Nardo on Tuesday, 15th March 2005 @ 10:41:32 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

I heard it once more
the "call' from out and from within.
It became apparent to me
in the form of a stranger
who showed to me
what I really am
and who I could be.
Safety is what he offered
and safety is what he took
from the edge of my lips
I sank into him
blinded maybe
but falling into Grace
knowing the softness of Him
would break my fall.
Perplexed I was
from being ripped and torn
for a long time
too long for any human to bare.
You shy away from your reality
and want to be held
caressed
noticed
and
kissed.
Still, I walk with caution
as to not looked to be
saved.

This is Nardo. I forgot that putting quotation marks around words in wipes out the entire word, in the dedication or description box. So, what it should say is
this is the last piece of the Call poems.
